Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Digital Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and coordinating engaging quality content for all social media platforms and email marketing while supporting events and communication needs for a variety of audiences across the Perimeter Aviation and Bearskin Airlines’ brands.

This is a full time hybrid remote position located in Winnipeg, MB (YWG).

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Develop and manage annual digital content strategy and quarterly goals in partnership with marketing team for social platforms and email marketing for two brands
  • Monitor all channels and groups for sentiment and comments, responding in a factual and controlled manner to mitigate negative consequences through the brand’s voice
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging content that nurtures, guides growth, shows our differentiation, and supports business goals while being brand-focused
  • Produce professional and well-crafted content for social media, email marketing, customer communication, and web pages
  • Optimize content for search engines and monitor and analyze keyword performance
  • Actively contribute to internal communications site and in-flight magazine
  • Identify and develop relationships with influencers and user groups to support content creation and community engagement
  • Identify, evaluate, and seek out social media trends, tools, and new avenues of connecting with audiences
  • Use analytics tools to track, measure, and analyze the effectiveness of content marketing efforts and channel performance against ROI and KPIs, using insights to refine and improve strategies
  • Ongoing competition, industry, and market analysis’
  • Lead the creation and implementation of social media Responding Guidelines and policies
  • Actively participate and assist in the Company’s engagement and sponsorship events
  • Actively participate in the Company’s Safety Management System
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Diploma or post-secondary degree in marketing, communications, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in content marketing, with a proven track record of crating and executing successful campaigns
  • Understanding of digital marketing principles and current practices/trends
  • Expert in social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn with working knowledge in TikTok
  • Experience with social scheduling tools, content management systems, Email Marketing automation, SEO, Meta Business and Ads Manager, and Google reviews
  • Knowledgeable about current and emerging technology, platforms, and reporting tools
  • Experience in graphic design, videography, or photography an asset
  • Certifications in content marketing, social media, and Google Analytics an asset
  • Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training an asset
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations

Working Conditions

  • Physically able to perform all listed job duties
  • Travel by aircraft and other means as required by role
  • Office work, including long periods of sitting
  • Attend and participate in offsite company events
