Unruly Passengers
Zero Tolerance for Unruly Behaviour
Perimeter Aviation and Bearskin Airlines have a zero-tolerance policy for any behaviour that compromises the safety of our aircraft, passengers, or crew members. Disruptive or unruly conduct will not be tolerated, and appropriate action will be taken to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone on board.
Passengers have the right to travel in a safe and secure environment. Under the Criminal Code of Canada and the Aeronautics Act, it is illegal to engage in behaviour that threatens the safety of crew members or fellow passengers.
Disruptive behaviour will result in immediate action. Offenders will be met by RCMP or Police upon landing and could face the following consequences:
- Denied re-boarding
- Banned from future flights
- Arrested
- Criminally charged
- Prosecuted
Convictions can result in a criminal record, fines up to $5,000, and/or imprisonment.
Safety is Everyone’s Responsibility
If you witness any behaviour that could compromise the safety of your flight, please report it to airline staff or a crew member immediately.
Unruly behaviour jeopardizes the safety of everyone on board. Actions that threaten flight safety and are strictly prohibited include:
- Harassment
- Verbal, physical, or sexual abuse
- Intimidation
- Intoxicated or disorderly conduct
- Violating smoking regulations
- Refusing to follow crew instructions
- Any action endangering the aircraft
