Childhood curiosity took hold of Komal’s career, and she never looked back. As a child, she’d find herself looking up at planes, captivated by the idea of getting closer to them. Growing up in a small town, that wonder only intensified when she experienced an airport for the first time,

Stepping into that airport felt like stepping into another world. I was amazed by everything—the planes, the announcements, the energy. It felt like a dream.

This moment stayed with her and eventually became her everyday reality

Working in customer service often isn’t for the faint of heart, especially in aviation. Everyone has somewhere they need to be and someone they’re waiting to see. But Komal saw that challenge as motivation.

I’ve always believed that small gestures can make a big difference. In aviation, especially in regional travel, every interaction matters. I wanted to be the person who can turn a stressful travel day into a smooth, welcoming experience.

Her path to becoming a Customer Service Agent at Perimeter was built on a strong foundation in customer service. Her first role in aviation emphasized the importance of the foundational skills she built while a role at an international airport gave her experience with high passenger volumes and fast-paced operations Through her experiences, she learned how to handle tough situations of all sorts, helping to develop the skills to stay calm in pressure situations, listening with empathy, and finding timely solutions. But she still found something was missing.

Coming to Perimeter was where everything clicked.

Joining Perimeter Aviation has been a completely different and deeply meaningful experience. Here, I see firsthand how important our work is—especially when we’re helping people travel to and from remote communities.

For Komal, the role is not just handling tickets and boarding passes, but instead it’s about the people. Building connections and caring for the passengers who, for many, it’s not just flights, but their lifeline. “Whether it’s someone heading home to see family, travelling for medical care, or connecting with essential services, every journey matters.”

Her favourite part of the job? No surprise it’s getting to connect with people every day. Whether it’s helping a nervous first-time flyer, or welcoming back a familiar face, “there’s something special about being part of someone’s journey, even for a short time.” Every day brings new faces, new stories, and ultimately, new opportunities to make a difference.

Komal’s career with Perimeter is one she feels proud to share. The mission of serving remote areas with care and reliability is one that drew her in from the start. With a supportive and inclusive culture, where the focus is put on doing the right thing, she felt like a part of something bigger from the very first day. “I’m proud to wear the Perimeter badge and represent a company that truly values its people and passengers.”

Her advice to others considering a similar path or career at Perimeter is simple: “Go for it. If you’re someone who truly cares about people and wants to be part of something bigger than just a job, this is the place for you. Aviation isn’t always easy, but it’s incredibly rewarding. Every day brings new challenges, but also new chances to grow, connect, and make a difference.” Komal’s guiding advice is simple but powerful: lead life with kindness, stay curious, and never stop learning.

The smallest act of care can mean the world to someone, and that’s what makes this work so special.

If Komal’s story shows us anything, it’s not just about where the planes go, it’s about who they carry, and the care that gets them there. Her compassion is felt in every interaction, and we’re proud to have her as part of the Perimeter team.
