Your Experience

Letter from the CEO

Fuel costs are one of the most significant factors in aviation, and you’ve likely seen how rising prices are affecting airlines around the world. Right now, market conditions are volatile, driven by geopolitical conflict disrupting global supply chains.

While many industries absorb these costs into the price of goods, we’ve chosen to keep our fuel surcharge separate from your fare so you can clearly see what you’re paying. This surcharge is reviewed quarterly and adjusted up or down based on market conditions. We know this adds pressure, and it’s not something we take lightly. As fuel prices stabilize, we will reduce the fuel surcharge to reflect those changes.

The government’s temporary suspension of the fuel excise tax on aviation fuel is helpful, but it represents only a small portion of overall costs, typically less than three dollars per passenger.

What won’t change is our commitment to service. We are not adding new surcharges or fees, and at this time, we have no plans to reduce flights or frequency. Staying connected matters, especially for the communities we serve every day.

We also recognize that this is a particularly challenging time for many. Seasonal weather is affecting runways, longer shoulder seasons are making travel more complex, and affordability is a real concern for many of our passengers.

Through it all, our focus remains the same: to provide fair, reliable service and to continue showing up for you.

We’re proud to be part of your journey. Thank you for trusting us to keep you connected as we navigate these challenging times.
