This National Indigenous Peoples Day, we’re celebrating that legacy — through the eyes and imagination of the communities we serve!
We’re inviting everyone from the communities we serve to take part in our Celebrating 65 Contest.
Contest Details
What to draw: A Perimeter aircraft, depicted in your own unique style.
Inspiration: Let your artwork be inspired by your community, your culture, or your dreams for the future of aviation.
Theme: Celebrating 65 — whether you imagine a classic plane soaring across northern skies, a futuristic aircraft of the next 65 years, or a tribute to your community, what does celebrating 65 mean to you?
Mediums: All artistic mediums are welcome (pencil, paint, markers, digital, mixed media, etc.). No AI-generated images will be accepted.
Size: Artwork should be between 5″x7″ and 11″x17″.
How to Submit
Send your artwork via a Perimeter Aviation flight (at no charge to the participant) to Winnipeg and mark it ATTN: Celebrating 65 Contest or mail it to Perimeter Aviation, 626 Ferry Road, Winnipeg MB, R3H 0T7.
Please include a title for your artwork and your contact information including name, address, phone number, and email address if available.

Judging Criteria
Submissions will be judged based on:
Creativity and originality
Interpretation of a Perimeter aircraft, incorporating the theme of 65 years
Artistic effort and presentation
Connection to aviation or your local community
Use of any artistic medium
Important Dates
Deadline (must be received by): June 3, 2025
Winners notified: June 8, 2025
Winners announced: June 11, 2025 (on our Facebook and Instagram Stories)
Final submissions with be showcased in the Winnipeg Perimeter Terminal and at the Winnipeg Goldeyes game on June 21, 2025.
Note about Contest Rules
The official contest rules, including eligibility, entry conditions, and prize details, are outlined separately here. In the event that no entries meet the judging criteria or there are no eligible entries submitted, Perimeter Aviation reserves the right to select winners in accordance with the contest rules.
